Your in the wrong forum. Possibly going to the Mogul forum will get you the help you need.

Re: Native HTC messaging MMS fix (collaboration)

Ok need a little help here. I Flashed NRGZ EnergyROM April 1 and I can't get any MMS to download. It has Arcsoft on it so I installed the Valkyre. Tested Fail.

Changed server settings. Tested Failed.
Changed registry settings. Tested Failed.
Installed Provisioning. Tested Failed.

I Don't know what to do but I want my damn HTC messaging working. I am using Verizon. Can someone please help me out here?

After you loaded the rom and before you installed anything, did you run the carrier prov in the tools menu?

Sound like it's a mess now. I would suggest a device wipe. Once done run the carrier prov tool and then install other stuff. If you don't want to do that, export the arcsoft key from the registry and we can look at that and see what the issue may be. You can pm it to me, copy and paste.

OK here is the Deal

Wiped.
Programmed phone.
Reset
Installed Prov.
Reset
Got MMS message fine.
Installed NRGZ HTC messaging.
Reset
GOt MMS but only able to see picture when It showed up in notification area not in the messaging client. There was no paper clip or anything.
Uninstalled NRGZ
Reset
MMS now has button but still using Arcsoft. (GOD I HATE ARCSOFT)
Installed Valkyre
Reset
MMS unable to downoad. No button or paperclip.
Uninstalled.
Reset.
Stuck with Arcsoft. What should I do. I HATE ARCSOFT SOOOOOO MUCH. I want my damn HTC messaging back.

I don't quite understand what you want me to do with registry as I can navigate and edit entries but other than that I am kind of new.

ANy help would be great thanks. (REMINDER: I am Verizon)

Re: Native HTC messaging MMS fix (collaboration)

Hmmm I just posted about this in another thread, I had this problem with the mighty rom even after I installed the arcsoft MMS, then I switched to energy and it was working fine, but since I cant stay on a rom more than a week I ust switched to Malrom and I'm having the problem again. Seems odd that I can trade MMS with other providers like AT&T and Verizon, but my MMS to sprint users fails. I just don't get it, I thought this was a problem with sprints servers, or is it a problem with the MMS clients in the roms?

Re: Native HTC messaging MMS fix (collaboration)

ok Exporting now. Also this is is a relatively new issue but now when I get a new message it doesn't show up with a number next to the text message icon on Manilla 2.5.
