Re: Google Goggles equiv for TP2?

Yea, Barcorama seems to never get it. I've tried for about ten minutes with great pic captures and no luck.

Shouldn't the app provide a software button that triggers the capture? You would think.

Re: Google Goggles equiv for TP2?

microsoft showed off an application like that on some proprietary hardware a few years ago at one of their keynotes, they said it will be out for WM soon.

no idea how far they have gone with it or if they gave up but the one they showed was even more impressive than google's version

Wirelessly posted (HTC Touch Pro 2: Opera/9.80 (Windows Mobile; WCE; Opera Mobi/WMD-50286; U; en) Presto/2.4.13 Version/10.00)

Yea, Microsoft Tag reader. It reads Microsoft Tag codes.

I-Nigma doesn't have a capture button, instead, it takes a pic once the barcode is in frame. It's pretty accurate, and kinda nice. This way, there's no chance to blur the image by moving the phone.

Re: Google Goggles equiv for TP2?

I used to have I-Nigma installed on my Titan, found QuickMark when I was looking for something similar for my TP2, but for the most part they were only ever novelties, the practical applications always seemed limited.
