Yes, same result... task manager is gone even though it shows as enabled in the control panel. I checked the SPB forums and there is another one with my same issue:

Thanks for the changelog. Do you know what backlight support their talking about? The rest seems kinda hohum. I don't care about mms. Prolly pass.

Had the same problem when I upgraded to 3.5.1, went back to 3.5 because nobody knew a fix.
