Re: I cant decide between mighty or juicy. I need someone else's opinion

I have tried almost all of them but Juicky and Mighty are the ones I bounce back and forth from. I flashed 5 times yesterday lol.

I think Mightys is more stable and its the image on my storage card for that emergency reflash (as is an image of Juicy and stock)

Juicy's is more cutting edge and performance is good also. I had R5 flashed yesterday also. but its the little quirks, youtube sound, I forgot to check the provisioning again to see if it had the multiple entries.

I use my phone alot for work so I need to make sure its reliable, why not create a cab of your common apps? I have cabs of my email setup, use myphone and can be up in running in 10-15 minutes

I am glad we have options, good job to the chefs out there

A while back I had setup email provisioning xml file by using a tool called makisu. http://www.winmo-experts.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3

a video of how to use it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRJ9-LaddRk

Once I had the xml file I went to this website and created a cab installer http://www.supware.net/CabGen/

I only did this once, I don't need to install makisu again, I have used my cab on WM 6.1-6.5 and all flavors of roms on multiple phones.

If you use the full program sashimi I dont think you need to do this because thats what that program does is provision your xml files and install cabs for you. I have less than 10 programs I install and 3 email accounts, I pull my contacts from myphone so its pretty quick for me.

Good luck

I'd suggest SSK's Kitchen. That way you can customize the rom the best way you see fit.

I did that for a while myself.

I had flashed Juicy & at the time NOBODY could figure out how to get MMS to work with Verizon. I use MMS everyday at work & it worked great with Mighty.

Every morning for over a week I was flashing to Mighty & restoring an SPB backup. Then, when I got home from work I would flash back to Juicy & restore a Juicy BU & mess with it some more.

The MMS thing finally got worked out & I have been using Juicy ever since, but that Mighty image is still on my card in case of emergency.

Re: I cant decide between mighty or juicy. I need someone else's opinion

I'm not clear on Juicy's ROMs yet, all I know is onetime I downloaded the ROM and when I opened my qwerty keyboard the screen went black, so I guess its only supported strictly in portrait view

Are all his Roms like this? or are there different version that supports portrait & landscape

I'm on mighty rom & love it btw, but I see no harm in trying new things
