HAHA, that sounds awesome. You should use mymobile to project your phone's screen on that monitor!

Re: HTC Volume control window... I miss it!

Yea, I have the HTC OEM video out cables, they look good on the tv. I'd take a pic, but I don't have a digital camera anymore (it was stolen at a trade show a few months back).

Bummer on the camera. Have you tried playing video from the TP2 on your screen? If you have how's the quality? I'm thinking about getting the video out cables if the quality is good, so I can watch videos on my TP2 on hotel TVs. Thanks!

They work just fine, but can be confusing. Lol, I tried Resco Bubbles and Teeter on the tv, and it really messes with you! Also, NFS works well, but you need to see the buttons on the screen.

As far as tv's in hotels, LCD's are the best (duh). What I mean is CRT tv's have too much bleed, and you don't see the entire screen.

Does anyone know if there has even been any development on this volume control thing? I really miss HTC volume control.

It's a known issue. Basically the method that the HTC Volume Control uses to function with winmo6.1 and 6.5 does not work with winmo6.5.1 and later. So there is no way it's going to ever work unless HTC makes a new compatible version. But IMO since 6.5.1 and later versions of winmo aren't even official HTC probably won't be releasing a compatible program for some time... The best you can hope for is someone to make a new program...

Re: HTC Volume control window... I miss it!

Yea, this one works now, it's just not the HTC version, and isn't fully integrated like the HTC one (see Youtube volume, it still brings the popup window).

NOTE: It's transparent because I set it that way. You can make a solid black background too.

Re: HTC Volume control window... I miss it!

@HTCotta
The program from the preceding post (which I also posted earlier in this post) is called Setvolume (cab attached).
(It's from xda: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=395695)
It's not perfect, but looks better than the plain vanilla winmo volume control.
