Re: Soft Reset Program
Interesting, something I will have to download for possible future use.
What is the practical difference between this and a program like "monx_modified_simple_reset" or "MySoftReset.cab" which just puts a shortcut in your start menu that you tap to do the same thing? Just curious. |

Probably very much the same thing! LOL! Just no install. You place the file there yourself and the registry does not get edited at all. |

Re: Soft Reset Program
Hehe. I just wish I had access to an external soft reset button like the T-Mobile TP2s. The only times I am in dire need of soft resetting is usually when the entire phone locks up and becomes non responsive. But I wouldn't trade my 3.5mm headphone jack for external access to the soft reset button (and I'm too afraid to do the drilling holes in battery covers mods that people have done on this thread!).

Re: Soft Reset Program
I agree, I usually only used the soft reset button my TP1 when the thing froze. Although with all the tweking and modding I've been trying to do lately, it's nice to have a faster way of restarting, then just holding down the power button. I hear ya though!

Re: Soft Reset Program
Just a note, I noticed the Microsoft Marketplace now has a Soft Reset utility available for download/install.
Yet another option ![]() |
