hard spl unlock not working on my replaced phone...

Why would they delete it? Heck, for that matter, why would they removed the unlocked hard spl in the first place?

It's okay for them to hack up HTC's work and release it, but it's not okay for the rest of the community to do the same thing?

Someone should post is up over at XDA- they'll probably leave it up there.

they won't have to. regular posters over there get it for free, they just charge us ppcgeekers.

i just checked again, the post has been changed but it said regular contributors (not donators) to the site got it free. i'll do more digging.

nah, XDA doesn't approve of warez. though, I don't think PPCgeeks does, either.

Please tell me how it is considered warez when someone tweaks your SPL, but it is not considered warez when you tweak HTC's SPL? I'm having a hard time understanding this. It's totally okay for you to take someone else's app, tweak it to suit your needs, and then license it like it's your own. But you call it warez if someone else does the exact same thing to the very app that you ended up with?
