I probably tried a dozen times last week on my replacement, no dice.

Ended up donating, AGAIN, because I got no reply from them.

They shouldn't even call it donation when it's required. Hope they pay tax for it.

I sent out the supposedly unlocked hardSPL to a few people and did not hear any cases of it working, so until I hear of it working I'm not going to send it out again.

No it gave me an error message saying it can't communicate with my phone. I tried it on my laptop (windows 7) and on my desktop (Vista) .. same error message on both

I also ended up donating again (twice).

You know, if you pay for this, and it bricks your phone, I'm pretty sure they are legally responsible for it in most places. I know they put their little disclaimer up and stuff, but you can legally throw that out the window once they start requiring a "donation" (at least in most places).

They really screwed up with this whole licensing thing. It totally ruins the spirit of the whole community. Communities like this (and XDA) aren't supposed to be based on making money.
