From an article that I read and some pics that I saw Sprint has a CDMA version of this phone coming out if It will be called the Touch HD Pro because it will have a built in keyboard

It would appear that the Jasper C and Willow W will both be top contenders in Sprints new lineup...and both an evolution of the TouchPro and HD designs. So it seems Sprint is bypassing the actual HD for the newer models.

the touch hd pro would be an upgrade to the touch pro's i'm guessin, awfully quick to be talking bout upgrading these phones, but i guess it's not for a while anyway..

Yeah there is no need for the Touch HD now that the rhodium and tungstens are coming out for Verizon and Sprint. I love keyboards myself so that's great news.

These phones are Amped uped versions of the Pro it seems! Win!

I setup the petition to keep your information anonymous. The only person I would share this information with is Sprint directly. I have been corresponding with one of the Executives about the Touch HD. He confirmed that they don't have the Touch HD in their sights and he said that Petition is a great way to convince him and the product development team that there is demand for a device. He pointed out that he had seen a petition for the Mogul and used that to put pressure on the development team.

He has agreed to listen. We, the people who would buy the Touch HD CDMA, just need to speak. Please take a moment to sign. It couldn't hurt.

I wouldn't want it on a Microsoft OS. Maybe HTC could run it through Palm to get the webOS, reconfigure the screen to be capacitive (which they should have done in the first place), and then present it to Sprint as a Palm HD device??? Just trying to avoid Microsoft's mobile OS with the next device ... MyPhone/Skybox, SkyMarket, etc., all of M$'s mobile offerings that are reported to be available still suck really, really big buttcheeks...

I don't know why you would need or want a hardware keyboard. I would think there would be more of the same hardware/keyboard malfunctions like the TouchPro.

seems as though htc is already onto the next wave of phones. seems like releasing a cdma hd now with the diamond2 and touch pro2 coming would be going back in time and wouldnt make much sense
