there should be an HD section soon. Not that I'm waiting on it, but I don't 'love' all these posts about the HD around here..

Abovelegit - if this was a thread just about the touch hd - I could see you thinking it belongs in another section but since the topic is a comparison of Diamond I think it belongs here. Feel free to avoid this thread if it real hurts your sensibilities. You've posted twice in this thread you don't like the topic - really I promise not to put a gun to your head and force you to read this thread any more. I apologize for using threats of life taking measures to force you to read this thread and post how much you don't like this topic. That must be you who has clicked about 800 times on a topic that you don't like.

Just in case you didn't notice, the SUBJECT of the thread mentions both the Diamond and the Touch HD - were you hoping to read about a book of the month club in this thread? Is there something confusing about the title of this thread that makes you keep clicking on it if you don't like it being here? I politely ignored your first request to remove this thread perhaps you should petition the governor.

I've gotten some great assistance in doing things and learning about phones from many people on this web site. This is by far one of the most informative PDA websites I've ever come across. Why are you pissing on my picnic?

what does posting 7 times have to do with a useless thread? i havent read one comparison between the two, so this thread actually has nothing to do with the diamond. but if it makes you feel better, keep at it. i mean, you do have more posts than me so you can do whatever you want.

I was researching the Diamond vs Pro and found updates from yesterday and today about Dec release by HTC of the HD version with 4" screen. Has same basic internal specs as Pro, about the size of the Ipod.
Specs showed GSM.
Anyone have any ideas on non-GSM versions in US, Sprint in particular?
I was ready to buy Diamond, but would wait for this one in a heartbeat if only 3-4 months out.
Or is this for everyone but the US?

AVS - perhaps I was being a little harsh. Try reading the first thread - there is a comparison there. Try reading through my other posts in this thread I got some useful info about the Diamond. So maybe the thread is useless to you - feel free not to read it. I didn't know there was a standards committee you were on that authorized which threads were useful and which ones should be closed because you didn't find them helpful. But again you aren't required by law to read this thread - there are many others to choose from.
