HTC Touch HD Pro leaked!!!!!

Well it looks like HTC has been busy with more than the Diamond and TouchPro. The 2009 HTC line-up has been leaked and it looks like we might be getting a TouchHD Pro in the future. Follow the links for more info.

Oh this is so sweet!
Just makes me wonder when HTC will do away with press technology and introduce actual touch like that in the Iphone. (the screens still don't compare to that of the iphone

I saw it early this morning and had to post it right away. Ive been searching around and I found that it might be a release for the christmas season. I HATE TO SPECULATE ABOUT A PHONE RELEASE BCUZ IT NEVER HOLDS UP ... but thats whats being whispered. So will our choices be Diamond, Touchpro, or TouchHD by the end of the year? Who knows!! From a prelim look it seems like a super Diamond without a dpad or face wheel.

Ok, now I am just dubious as to why HTC even bothered to make the Diamond ... The HD likely won't be released for another 4 months, but still ... why make the Diamond only to make a 50x better looking device that will be even better .... but still running WM6.1??? I guess I'll hold off on getting the Pro to see if there will be an HTC Touch HD Pro . I want a device with a sliding keyboard, but if the new device will have this kind of resolution, and there's a chance that it'll also be expanded to have a version with a QWERTY keyboard like the Pro, I'll be rushing into oblivion by getting the Pro when a better device is not too far away. HTC is doing too much it seems. It reminds me of the time Apple released the 4GB iPhone only to discontinue it only after a few months and offered all those who had the 4GB the option to upgrade. Doing so could be carrier specific for that to happen should the Touch HD be released on the same provider as the Diamond ... but that'll still cost HTC in the long-term. Ok ... sorry for the rant, lol.

Makes you wonder, on Modaco you can see the size comparison and its almost exactly the same size as the iPhone. However, you know the HTC Touch HD won't have 8GB or 16GB built-in or even a battery to compete... so what exactly is causing the bulk? I realize the screen needs a certain frame to contain it, but the depth? No hard drive and no SDHD slot but rather a microSD? I would never get the iPhone and the HTC HD just became my new girlfriend in about a year, but I guess this is the price you pay when one company makes the hardware and another the software.

Anyway, GSM by the end of the year in Europe and Asia. Hopefully, CDMA by Spring/Summer '09 in time for my Sprint upgrade. Also, you have to know by then if it's running WM 6.1 now that it will get WM 7 and possibly even Android. This isn't an iPhone killer -- the iPhone killed itself. Gee, let's all herald a device that came out with 3G and GPS in 2008 when I've had those on my device since 2006. Okay, fanboys, back in Justin Long's *** you go.

This thing looks sick. Having said that, I can't imagine they would ever come out with a Pro version with a QWERTY. Considering its dimensions now, and then with a keyboard, it would be a UMPC. Besides, with a screen this big you do everything virtual. No more hardware.

i think the MAJOR point a lot of you are overlooking is they made the diamond/pro to be released NOW, in 2008. This new HTC was just showed off today for the first time. Who knows when it will even be available overseas, let alone the US or CDMA if it ever even comes to CDMA). Id be willing to bet you dont see it even overseas for a release until 2009, meaning IF the US sees it itll be a year from now for the next yearly HTC device round.

Cant jump the gun yet the thing was just spotted for the first time, its not even out yet at all anywhere in the world let alone the US which is known for getting technology dead last.
