ahhh I see. Well your going to haved to live with it. Personaly I hate these issues. it makes more sense for htc to buils proper working moguls that to gamble on who wll rfeturn their bad inferior parts.

You guys...
My original Mogul (got it the week it was released) had the yellow hue thing. It has something to do with detecting input, because it would change from pure white to barely noticeable yellow whenever a screen tap or button push occured. A good way to test this was to turn the scroll wheel. Some ROMs fix this issue supposedly, but I just ignore it and I don't even know if it still does it anymore. My point is that I don't beleive at all that this is a manufacturing change or anything like that. You could complain to Sprint and get yourself a new mogul, but don't expect anyhting to change. It might appear to be white now, yellow later, or yellow now and "magically" turn white. Its not your screen hardware, or at least I've seen no reason to beleive it is. That's why the mods probably closed your thread, sinn... this has been noted already. |

I disagree 100%. There is a physical difference on the screen itself. My GF mogul screen feel harder and does not dimple in very much when you tap it. On mines it feel softer and dimples in a lot. Very noticable. I had my gf feel it and instantly she can feel it aswell. I had a friend feel it and he says his mogul is like my gf mogul. A lot harder feeling. he got lucky aswell.. he has a very bright white backlight and never flickers. Trust me... I have my gf mogul in front of me and its very noticable.

If you say so, but I'm not convinced its true yet.
As I said before, my screen has had moments when it was yellow, and moments when it was pure white. As far as how the screen touches, I have yet to find a mogul screen that doesn't feel exactly like mine. Maybe just yours is defective? I don't see this as a widespread issue worth panic, especially in a thread that was discussing a mis-reported CPU speed! BTW, if you're just tuning in now, the processor from the original post is fine since TCPMP reported the same clock speed as all the 400Mhz Moguls. |

The mogul does have a blinding bright screen! my mogul has one of the brightest screens I've ever seen... on a ppc. I typically like to have these devices on the brightest setting possible... but with the mogul the brightest setting is just soooo bright, so now i tend to prefer 4 notches above the lowest setting. anyway I'm sorry to hear about this yellow hue problem you guys seem to be haveing... I guess I would be a lil upset aswell if I noticed this on my mogul...

Tell me about it. I have been mocked for nagging about this issue. Im on my 5th mogul and still have a issue with my backlight. Im waiting on tomorrow to see if sprint will take this replacement again.
