Re: Debunking the Multi-NAI Myth
Incase I broke something, I didn't delete the entry. I re-named it to "extension2" and it works. No 67 error when I try to create the connection. I haven't tested the actual tethering function though since I'm at work.

Re: Debunking the Multi-NAI Myth
Saw a thread about opening IE first. I don't think this works for everyone.
I've got a new Touch Pro, before doing the hack I noticed it now resets whatever connection you already have running. Starting IE first doesn't work, it closes that connection and restarts a new one. Luckily removing reference to isext.dll works. Just have to test it on my laptop when I get home. |

Re: Debunking the Multi-NAI Myth
I'm using version wmwifirouter ver. .91, deleted the isext.dll file and changed the forceconnecting setting to "Sprint". Now I have no problem tethering but the connection still disconnects every few minutes. Anyone else having this problem? I know another included some backlighting registry edits, do they have anything to do with this problem?

Re: Debunking the Multi-NAI Myth
i have a 6800 i'm running software ver. 3.35.651.2
the way i tether is: 1. boot phone 2. launch Internet Sharing 3. select USB & Phone Aa Modem 4. hit connect sometimes it enables, sometimes it doesn't (because my active sync with exchange OTA interferes) but i just keep trying until it does. then i can usually browse until i receive a call i only have unlimited internet & have never subscribed to any PAM services & one month i had around 2Gb worth of data usage. mostly from e-mail, web & VPN traffic. granted the only thing i did differently from the rest of you is that when i hard reset my phone i kill the sprint ROM and then selectively install specific apps & configs from it. |
