can anyone confirm that the ## codes actually work? I have the alltel OS on my phone and ##code# and ##code{SEND} don't work... Or maybe 3282 doesn't work on alltell, anyone know what would work?

3282 dosn't work but others like "debug" & prl work when you hit the the send key.

Lets hope someone can pullout the bt portion from the alltel rom. I can't remember who or where I got the keyboard fix but I bet he could do it. If anyone has access to other sites please post there as well.

ok... I just put in the Alltell ROM on my Sprint Mogul.


My bluetooth works!!! This made my fucking day!!

Now this is coming from a heavy bluetooth headset user who hung up his Jabra JX10 'cuz of the Mogul's BS. I had 2 phone convos with the Alltell Rom with the BT headsed and both seem to pass with flying colors. One of the convos was with a girl who use to instantly complain about "hey I can't hear you?" when I used the BT when I first got the Mogul. She didn't say a thing about the sound quality or reception.


It does seem the Alltell ROM is faster then the Sprint.

Don't extract no FULL backups you made on the Sprint ROM... you'll lose the MMS, I learn this the hardway after hard resetting my phone 2 times. Only extract contacts and PIM info... don't do no system or message/email stuff.

I'm reloading everything on now. I personally don't mind all the Alltell branding... it makes my phone more "exclusive". People will be like "how you get Alltell on your mogul?".. or better yet, "how are you using your BT flawlessly on your mogul?"





For those waiting for HTC or Sprint for a fix... fuck all of that, just load the Alltell ROM... its worth it.


Its funny 'cuz last night I was pissed that AT&T just got the HTC Kaiser/Tilt/Tytn2 aka The best Current PDA Phone out!... I was like "fuck, I could of just got that instead of this peice of shit mogul". Now with my bluetooth working, I don't mind anymore.

That would be superdave. He hangs out over at pdaphonehome and xda-developers quite a bit. I'd be surprised if he's not already working on it.

Ugh... This has been addressed at least 3 times (I know because I've responded to at least 3 of them!)... Its not necessarily possible to create a .cab installation that can fix the bluetooth bug.
