Hey Darkness231, I want to hook up my GPS receiver in my car permanently too. How did you hook it up?

The Holux GPSlim 240, comes with a car 12v adapter. So I wired a cigarette plug adapter to the switch 12v line (radio or some vehicles have a cigarette that is switched) in my truck. and taped over the battery terminal on the Holux GPSlim 240's battery, since the unit will run without the battery. So I leave the switch for the 240 in the on position, and as long as the truck is in the on or acc. position the gps receiver is on. Then its just a matter of hiding the wires.
Did the same thing with the charger for my 6700 now 6800 and it looks pretty good. Well I think so
