My Mogul refuses to turn on!

hey everyone.

i'm having a bit of difficulty with my phone. i went to turn it on this morning but all i got was the boot screen. it says:

TITA100
SPL-2.07.0000
CLPD-9

and at the very bottom it says Serial.

i've tried resetting it multiple times with the button at the bottom. i've tried to hook it up to the computer, but it doesn't see the device there. is my phone gone for good? please help! i have to admit, i'm not very computer savvy.

also, if it matters, i've been having trouble with the battery. it doesn't last very long. that, and it has suffered through minor water damage. i'm not sure if this would contribute to the problem. again please help! anything would be greatly appreciated.

Re: My Mogul refuses to turn on!

I would venture to guess there is corrosion somewhere within the hardware, try removing your battery to turn the unit off, then re-insert the battery. without turning the unit on place it on a charger and allow the battery sufficient time to take a full charge. when it has achieved a maximum charge try turning it on. If it does the same thing you may need to take it to your carrier to see what can be done.

Re: My Mogul refuses to turn on!

well an easier thing to try if you still have one is the stock headset. try booting with that plugged in.

also on the battery. you could try calibrating the charge circuit by draining completely (0%) then fully charging. but really mogul batteries are way cheep to order. I got 2400mah for like $20 over a year ago.

Re: My Mogul refuses to turn on!

I think you have the beginning of a hardware failure. I had one do the same thing. No amount of flashing or battery changing fixed the issue. I just got a replacement.
