Streaming Tv and video websites
6 Links I'll pass on for Vidoes.
http://wwitv.com/portal.htm http://freetube.110mb.com/ http://www.tv-links.co.uk/ http://www.chooseandwatch.com/ http://www.americafree.tv/index.shtml http://stage6.divx.com/ I've had troubles getting divx files from the 3rd and 6th links, I'm using TCMP. Any suggestions on ANY of these would be greatly appreciated. the 1st and 2nd links seem to work fine sometimes, and othertimes they're difficult. |

I think the address for Fox5 is http://www.chooseandwatch.com/channe...=334&trackId=7 but I can't duplicate it on my pc, let alone on the ppc

HUGE PROGRESS
Okay, i first tried to look at the source code for the links, it was way to much to read then i realized that i have adblock on my firefox browser, so i loaded up the page i wanted to see and as usual, the video didnt pop up (that sites not compatible with firefox), BUT WAIT, adblock still recognized that a video player was supposed to be on the page and gave me the option to block the link so i clicked the tab and got this link to fox 5 rtsp://a1729.l2168647534.c21686.g.lm.akamaistream.net/D/1729/21687/v0001/reflector:30206 it shows directly in desktop media player when you play the url, so far ive tested it and heres my results TCPMP doesnt recognize rtsp files Gsplayer connects but doesnt show or play video WMPlayer Pocket plays the audio but doesnt show video *word of advice, those links are huge, i used my mobiler to copy the links directly on the phone http://www.mymobiler.com/ it lets you view your full screen on your desktop and type/copy/paste using the real keyboard **after doing a little research (this is my first ppc phone), ive found out that theres not rtsp solution for windows mobile, this looks like as far we'll get, having only audio play Last edited by gobmonster; 09-09-2007 at 05:59 PM. |

I have been able to get the Sci-Fi channel to play from WWITV, so I'm POSITIVE it is possible at least for some stations. I'll keep working on this. And the last link as well as the 3rd link seem to be all divx, TONS of media there, but divx will play for a little bit for me, then I get the spinning pie for just long enough to be annoying. I think my connection is strong, I'm leaning towards the player(TCMP) not handling the media properly.

Found another website, http://mobile.freebetv.com/signup.html but these are all rstp files. How do we get rstp files to play?
