Streaming Tv and video websites

Ok, here's what I did on my last attempt, not 2 minutes ago. I visited this very website with my mogul, followed the link, dowloaded the the 3 files but only extracted the 3rd file, since it makes you pick a place to place it, I put it in "windows", soft reset, then went to "FreeBeTv", picked "Comedy Time Showcase" and BAM! "X The file 'rstp://stream.roktv........cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of it's components cannot be found......". The previous 4 or 5 times, I downloaded them to my pc, then transferred over via usb, but as I forgot my cable at work, I thought I'd try it straight from the phone for once.

this makes it idiotproof, or should i say "rivieraproof"!!!!!! Click this link, then click on the "here", it installs and prompts you to restart, painless. http://thinkabdul.com/2007/06/29/dow...-pcsmartphone/ Now, we just have to come up with that directory of rstp sites. I tried it for rstp, but not for divx yet, will update after I've tested it for divx.

****divx still doesn't play, but i have some tweaking to do, as some say they can play divx just fine on tcmp.

*******YouTube videos still play just fine on tcmp automatically after installing this media player.

yea ok i see what you did if you had just downloaded the 3rd file you dont put it in the windows folder you just install it just the files from step #1 go in that folder

Now I'm trying to figure out how to find the rstp addresses so I can create a list of them. That FreeBe Tv pretty much sucks, but the streams from some of the network (i.e. Fox, CBS, NBC, etc) would be awesome.

Now I have to work on getting divx files to play.

well the one i posted that was fox 5 doesnt work, this is still not a valid rstp solution for the moment

how do you know thats a rstp stream?

When I get home from work, I'll ask some of the people on here who were involved in the tcmp thread. I'm also going to look for some help on this from howardforums as well as xda. Hopefully get this issue solved by the weekend. Anyone else have any input?

No it didn't get resolved. Everyone stopped giving input on this, and I'm not really knowledgable to do this on my own. I tried about every stupid little free video player i could download with very limited success. I'm sure it's completely possible to watch the rstc or whatever the deuce they are called, provided you have the right player

I did find several that streamed well on windows media player and I will post a list of these later this week.
I will also try to post a list of radio stations that stream on windows media player
