Bluetooth LED malfunction

I have absolutely no clue what led to what, but last night, out of nowhere the blue LED light turned on solid (not blinking) and stayed. I tried turning it off and it remained on while the phone was off. When I tried removing the battery, it went straight to the bootloader screen with the multicolors.

I was unable to do a hard reset until I plugged the phone into the wall, and the first time I tried it still didn't take. Eventually, the hard reset worked and the phone is usable again, but the blue LED is still on, and my computer won't read it anymore, saying that there is a malfunction.

ANY ideas as to what could have caused the problem and if there are any solutions?

Thanks

Re: Bluetooth LED malfunction

Time to backup you data because it sounds like a hardware problem. Not sure about any solutions other than a hard reset. Did you add anything new?

Re: Bluetooth LED malfunction

Can't back up, because it's stuck in boot-loader. Can't get it to load without hard-resetting. I tried to read it on my computer, but it reads the phone as a "malfunctioning device." So I can't flash anything, get any information off it, etc. After the hard-reset the blue light is still on (not flashing blue, like bluetooth), and if I turn the phone off, when I turn it back on, it will go straight back into boot-loader.

You can flash from a SD slot as well.

Re: Bluetooth LED malfunction

Hmm, intriguing.

I'm sending it in tomorrow because I bought a warranty on it through Square Trade, and somehow it managed to get all messed up on my VERY last day of warranty coverage... thank God... So if they send it back and say that my claim is somehow not covered, that will certainly be the next thing I try. Thank you, I'll post back if I get it back and am able to reflash. I know there was someone else who had the same problem a while back that remained unresolved.
