I'm using 6.32 which works really well on the 6800, I'm also using a Holux with no problems at all.

Directions List w/o GPS signal?

Hi,

How do you get TomTom6 to display direction from point A to Point B?

Sometimes I forget GPS Reciever at home, so I would like to use Tomtom to pull directions from A to B.. Looks like even if I set home Location as 'A' and NAVIGATE to 'B', it still doesnt show directions w/o GPS signal.

Do advanced planning, then go to view route. You will have the option to run a "route demo" where Tom Tom will simulate the trip for you. You could also view the route as text, kinda like mapquest.

There is another software called Destinator 6 or 7 that uses the tts (text to speech) feature. It's pretty nice and accurate too.

I've searched and can't find a way to disable TomTom 6 from starting up when I reset the device.

Anyone have any ideas? It's got to be something simple.

I checked my startup folder and it's not there. Maybe something in the registry?

You need to delete the AUTORUN.EXE from the folder (2577) on your SD card. That will stop it from starting on reset.
