TomTom Navigator 6

So I've spent about an hour looking all over the internet, including here, for my answer, and I've gotta say, I'm probably just missing it. I noticed TomTom does not advertise support for the 6800 running their software. I found a GPS KIT that I like, but want to make sure it will work for the 6800 before I buy. Any suggestions?

I'm running it just fine on my 6800. One annoyance is that the screen orientation is set by the device and not the program. so when you slide your keyboard out and back, it will go to portrait mode

shsims over at xda made a program called Landscaper which receives notification that screen has rotated and then rotates it back to the selected orientation. great app and when combined with mortscript works even better

Hi,

I've always wanted to have a GPS because I have fear of getting lost :-(

I currently have a Mougl, I am wondering what kind of GPS would you guys recommend for my 6800?

Thanx!

I have a Holux M-1000 that works perfectly fine.

I use the Pharos GPS-360 that came with MS Streets and Trips, then purchased the Bluetooth sled for the GPS-360. It's a great combo for a good price.
The only drawback is that the GPS-360 is not the quickest GPS device when it comes to initial acquisition of satellites. (it can sometimes take up to a minute to fully acquire a signal).
