Battery life is awesome now with beams disabled

unless I'm missing something also, am receiving the same error message. I was able to make some other modifications to the registry a few days ago (forget where), but I can't seem to do any of these tweaks for the battery issue. Do I, in fact, have to unlock the phone first??

i don't know if this would help but as a phone technician for a company that i cannot mention! best thing to do (and i know it sound silly) is to let battery drain to last 5% and then recharge battery to full 100%! reson is because it you keep charging your phone while i it still has a 10% charge or more it kills the battery a lot faster and then what's going to happen is that later the battery will not charge at all! i will say charge complete but battery will die within an hour! I do this process with my mogul and battery seems to last all day for me and that's with four emails setup in my phone to receive email automaticly, constant sms, mms and voice! thought i would share this with you'll!

i found a away to increase my battery life... it works great.... goes a month without having to recharge... here it is

1. turn beam off (insert star trek joke here)
2. have no plug in on today screen other then HTCHomeplug (the one with battery icon)
3. turn off Voice Speed Dial
4. turn off sliding sound
5. disable all buttons (this way u wont start camara accidently and use battery up)
6. turn off gps (set com port to none)
7. set 911 to 911 only for gps
8. only use stock rom and no other programs
9. dont use wifi
10. turn off bluetooth
11. purchase a sadio 3500 extended mha battery
12. turn backlight all the way to the left
13. press power button when finished on call to turn screen off
14. dont turn on phone.....
15. dont use internet
16. dont send or recieve text messages (call sprint get a text block)
17. use phone only as a phone
18. use the lowest volume setting for ringer and voice hearing
19. speak LOUD so that it wount have to amp your voice.
20. use voip on your pc to make and recieve all calls.
21. call bill gates to ask him what to do.
