lost all data trying to install new rom - Page 2

well thats probally one thing i did wrong. i downloaded the update directly to my phone via the mobile browser. what am i supposed to do?? download on my pc then run it on my pc and it updates my phone??

Hook up your Mogul just like you were going to sync it. Let ActiveSync do its thing. Then run that executable from your desktop. It will connect to the phone and update it. Just make sure you don't disconnect it accidentally.

ok everytime i download or try to download it, it tells me that it is corrupted and can not execute. i tryed up to 15 times and i have a good connection it is cable. tryed to download to desktop and my documents on my pc. everytime same thing.

anyone else have this problem????

Use PIMBackup to save contacts, call logs, appointments, etc. Best of all, it's free!

i might have to try that, right now my problem is the rom upgrade. i think i figured out why i lost all my contacts.

It worked for me. Clear your cache in IE and try again. It that fails, give it a bit before you try again. Its possible they are having issues as well. The download was SLOW when I did it.

If you lost the contacts on your phone try opening up outlook on your desktop pc and look in "deleted items". They should be in there. Just select them and move to contacts. Next time you sync they will go back to the phone.
