Poor signal strength

I have Radio version 3.35.04 and wondering if finding a update for that would help with signal strength?

any other suggestions would be nice too.

Radios ironically don't have terribly much to do with signal strength. Upgrading your radio won't hurt (in fact, it will help slightly in a number of ways), but it won't give you a noticeable bump of signal strength.

Your best bet is to update your PRL (public roaming list). Dial *228 and follow the directions to get the latest one.
