Assurion out of moguls!! - Page 2

i just broke my phone on wednesday of last week. out of manufacture warranty. i setup a claim on asurion on wednesday night and the form said i was going to get a UT Starcom 6850 which is the new touch pro. Should be getting on monday. just wanted to give my 2 cents and say good bye! mogul you have been good to me for the time we've been together *cry* but now its on to better. if anyone wants a seidio extended battery and the cover i'm willing to sell it!

i believe verizon is still giving out moguls through assurion, but spring is giving out tp's.

Yea, I filled a claim on the Asurion website last nite and it said I would be receiving a UT Starcom 6850!!! Woot!

Personally, I think it's funny that somehow Sprint has plenty of refurbished Moguls but Asurion has no more. I guess it's because you are paying some money to Asurion as opposed to getting a free replacement is you have TEP on Sprint so they wanna give you recycled phones that may or may not have issues...

Is Assurion out of 6800's period or just SPrint Mogul's. Cuz I'd love to upgrade my Alltel 6800 for a Touch Pro

when I slide the keyboard, the screen part is lifts up, will they replace that with a refurb mogul?

I spoke to asurion today and they told me that they don't make moguls anymore so they were going to send me a touch pro.
