NEW Palm Threaded sms app with MMS 4/1/09

Can someone please post some screenshots and has anyone tried to unistall it? if so did it uninstall smooth and default back to the old app or were there issues involved?

Thanks Cody!..i tried this out on my mogul that i fully flashed to cricket and it works perfectly..for both sending and receiving sms and mms without a hitch..flawlessly..i just went into the registry and changed a few things to what i thought they should be and love it

Cool, now we have confirmation of fully functional sms and mms on Alltel and Cricket using the Sprint (CDMA) cab and on AT&T/Cingular using the GSM cab.

Anyone know what is different about Sprint MMS over these other carriers?

wasnt there some controversy over the palm threaded messaging app for texts? anyone think this will happen with this program? just currious and lookin out for the community.

Still waiting on screenshots, change log, and uninstallation issues questions to be addressed...............................

The reason why is because there were original issues that after uninstalling Palm SMS it wouldnt default back to the other apps that handled it and causes issues in Poutlook

I don't have time right now to post screenshots. Others have posted a few screenshots in the treocentral thread. That thread also has the installation and uninstallation instructions. I've installed and uninstalled several times. You just have to make sure the today plugin is deselected and the device is soft reset before attempting to uninstall. It goes back to poutlook settings.

Unlike the older Palm Threaded SMS cab this one doesn't require any overwrites of rom files so there are no special instructions for copying over rom files and such.

Wow this is awesome. NO INPUT LAG for me at least on my touch pro, vs the normal threaded messaging crap that's built in to windows mobile. when viewing single messages the text is too large on the TP. does anyone know of any way to adjust this? otherwise awesome find. I prefer this to the stock app very much!@

I love this but the only thing I cannot figure out is how do I get my SPB Mobile Shell to show when I get a new text message?

If anyone is familiar with SPB mobile shell, on the "now screen" it shows icons for email, missed phone calls, text messages, etc with a counter underneath that indicate whether there a new messages/phone calls/emails. When I get a new text message, my notification light blinks but it will not show up on the "now screen." Also, when I click on the text message icon, it used to take me to my text message application but now it doesn't do anything.

Can anyone help me because I like this version of threaded text messaging a lot better than the older one.
