Powering on and powering off Sound

Is there any way to change the sound that the mougl plays when it is powered on and when it is powered off,

You can use something like AudioBoot v0.1and keep the default tone or change it as you like.

wat i actually want isto put like a ringtone a part of a song when it turns on and when it is turned off

You can change to tone to any MP3

But how because what i want is for an mp3 to play when my phone is turned on and also when it is turned completely off

There should be either a setting to change the tone OR you take the default tone labeled "startup.mp3" and change the tone but leave the name the same because that is what the app is looking for. I assume you can do the same by changing the tone for "shutdown.mp3". I used to run the app a long time ago but didnt need a lot of apps trying to start up and run all at once when bootup occurs because it bogs the PPC down.

is this startup and shutdown sound just for the sprint version? cause my alltel one doesnt make a sound when it starts up or shuts down.

It has nothing to do with what carriers phone you have, It has to do with your platform version but this will work on WM5/6/6.1. Did you install the software and go through its settings?
