Look for a program called MyMobiler. It puts your phone screen on your PC. Look in the Software Forum under commonly requested applications.

Re: GET CONTACTS (kinda sticky, please help)
Wow, that IS a sticky situation. Maybe you can take it to your Carrier's store and have them print off your contacts list for you. When I got my new phone (vogue) a long time ago, they were able to print off my contacts so I wouldn't lose them. Maybe Telus is the same way.
I hope everything works out for you

+1 for MyMobiler.... with that, you don't need to see your screen.

Re: GET CONTACTS (kinda sticky, please help)
I think one of the .vol files in the os is the contact list file. I assume you can get to this in usb mode.

Re: GET CONTACTS (kinda sticky)
If you're stuck in USB mode can you access the file directory of the device?
If yes, look in the root directory and find the file called "pim.vol" because it contains all of your contact information. If no, I don't know how else. You might be able to blind install a program like mymobiler or dotpocket to view your device's screen on your computer's screen. Then you could manually extract the pim.vol. You could always try to take the phone into a local service center and they may be able to help. Good luck, and keep us updated. |

Re: GET CONTACTS (kinda sticky, please help)
first of all, thanks everyone.
if there is no memory card in i think the device itself is usb drive accessible, so i will try and grab the pim.vol file, if not i am sure i can blind install that screen porter. thanks again for all your help guys |
