if all else fails back it up and then do a hard reset. I had this exact issue.

tried that already and it didnt work ima go to sprint store and have them take a look at it

When I first connected to Vista, I had the same problem. Think I ended up removing WMDC from the PC, and downloading a newer version from Microsoft.

i have the most current one i got mine from the website

btw my phone is still running WM 6 idk if that makes any sense on why it wont work

Kind of a guess but start Activsync on the device, then connect to the PC.
