Bluetooth sucks on my mogul! PDANet doesn't work.

using one of No2Chem's roms. my mogul's bluetooth sucks. Activesync doesn't work with my laptop because it always says ports are not available (bull****). My laptop can't find the phone when it's searching for devices (discovery is on) even though it finds all the phones of people around me...

sometimes restarts work, often they do not.

Sometimes it randomly connects and i can sync. but it disconnects by itself after a few minutes and can't reconnect because ports are suddenly gone or my laptop can't find my phone.

I NEED bluetooth because i use PDANet heavily and the USB plug on my phone is dead and only charges, doesn't do data anymore.

PDANet has a wifi feature for connection, but it doesn't work. Keeps saying there isn't a wifi connection when there is...

ROM upgrade? New phone? One with an ironclad bluetooth connectivity?
