Re: HTC PPC6800 Hard Keys UnResponsive
Yes, it could be a hardware issue. I am having a similar problem with the directional keys and center button. I have not done a hard reset yet to see if that rectifies the problem though.

Do a hard reset. If that doesn't help then take it in.

Re: HTC PPC6800 Hard Keys UnResponsive
Um, question:
Doesn't a hard reset involve the use of two of the (unresponsive) buttons? |

Re: HTC PPC6800 Hard Keys UnResponsive
definitely sounds like a hardware issue more than a software issue. A hard reset wouldn't hurt though, especially since you're going to have to backup/restore anyway for a new phone.

Re: HTC PPC6800 Hard Keys UnResponsive
I had an issue with my buttons going out. I also had to click the OK button twice sometimes. I just my BRAND NEW 6800. It feels so bomb! Buttons and screen are super responsive. Too bad there isn't more RAM though.

Re: HTC PPC6800 Hard Keys UnResponsive
Go to "Setting", "System" select "Clear Storage" and acknowledge that you really want to do it. Basically does the same as the key usage hard reset.
