Re: How to add your own slider sounds

I've put together a MEGA Sliding Sound Pack for myself and my friends and thought I would share it with the peeps on PPCGeeks. It was this thread that helped me figure it out and collect most of the wav files. You can also uninstall this cab if you need the extra ram back.

List Of WAV FILES:

0 : Wind Chimes
1 : Piano
2 : Xylophone
3 : Steam Hiss
4 : Might Boosh
5 : Startrek TOS
6 : Vista
7 : Zipper
8 : Transformers
9 : Electric Motor
10: Hal 2001
11: Swoosh
12: Female Voice
13: Mario Power UP
14: British Female Voice
15: Gun Shot
16: Open/Close
17: Light Saber
18: SciFi
19: Star Trek Computer

This is for those of you (on the wing, titan, etc) who use HTC Sliding Sound. It includes the basic scheme choosing and on/off controls as the normal Sliding Sound control panel in settings->personal, but also a way to edit and create schemes without editing the registry manually. Checkboxes take effect immediately so you can just slide to test the scheme.

This is ready for testing.

Place the exe anywhere on your ppc to install.

Requires .NET Compact Framework 2.0 or higher.

Edit: Fixed issue with new/edited schemes not saving.

Re: How to add your own slider sounds

Hey, i have a weird problem. Everything was working fine when i first put program on my 6800. But after like 2mins of setting the slide in & out sound the slide out sound has reverted to the "beep" i call it. It still says my sound file name but for some reason it doesnt read it when actually sliding out. It will play if i tap play. Any suggestions to solve this problem? Thx
P.S. It is any file set into the "in" selection. Its not reading any file i put into it.

Good lookin' on the procedures man! I already created the registry values/keys but couldn't get the sound to work. I just needed to copy the .wav files to the Windows directory. I've got the transformers sound goin'. I LOVE IT!
