I did the registry pary which is the harder of the 2 I'd think but now I don't know where in windows to put the actual sounds. I used the scarface ones from here. They are zipped. So, how do I unzip them & where in windows do I put them?

You have to unzip them
rename them as 3_in and 4_out and then put them in ur windows folder. From there just follow the directions wit the reg edits

just to add to this thread, i tried adding a 5th_in and 6th_out sound file but it didnt. Would only work uptill 3 and 4

anyone know where i can get the site for these sounds?..i want my phone to sound like its transforming how the transformers sound..

Hi can any one help me where exactly do you save the file to do you open the the explorer on the sync box.This is what i did i opened the explorer on the sync box then i clicked on my windows mobile based device. What do i do after that please help

i have done everything that u said to do and i still cant get this sounds to appear , i am using a Ceregistory Editor , are u using something else i have the 6800, plz help.

Someone already made a zip for those sounds a few pages back :-). You won't be able to see the file though unless you are logged in.

Sliding Sounds Ppc 6800 Mogul Help

i recently got the mogul and just heard about this site and was informed that you can change the sliding sounds of the mogul. i did my research and saw some registry thing, but i dont think that format is on the mogul. i have the files i want to use and labeled them 3_in and 3_out and pasted them in the windows folder, after that i dont know what to do. the files are not showing up in sliding sounds. i was wondering if there was another application that i needed to install or another step or something because i am lost.

before some of you respond with your smart comments, i want to reiterate that im new and even if i wasnt, you shouldnt act like answering a simple question is a big deal, you can either answer it or not answer it. its not like someone is forcing you to do it so you dont have to make someone feel stupid just because you know it and they dont.

some reason this does not work for me. I followed the directions to a T using PHM. But I cannot get the new selection to show up in the slidingsound options.

Anyone else have issues?
