Re: WM 6.1 Alarm Wont Disable
I had this problem on the apache. While I dig up the permanent solution, a quick band aid would be to turn off sounds for the alarms in settings>sounds & notifications.
Be back shortly with your perma-fix. Edit: I think I got it. First, go into your alarms and make sure all of your alarms are unchecked and do a soft reset just to set it in stone. Then run a regedit program (if you don't have one you can get one here) and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT USER>System>State>Shell>Alarms. If what I am thinking is true, even though you had turned off all your alarms through the clock settings, there should still be entries in this registry. You can delete these entries it will be safe. As soon as you make a new alarm in the clock settings then the correct values will show. After you do that go ahead and post some results.

Re: WM 6.1 Alarm Wont Disable
Thanks for the quick response. I've already turned off the sound , that was my pseudo fix. I was eager to try the registry hack but when i follow the registry path you listed I don't have "alarms" mine looks like HKEY_CURRENT USER>System>State>Shell>Reminders under which it says (default) (vakue not set). Hmmmm. Should I be looking elsewhere? Just dawned on me, could it be because I've moved some DLLs to the storage card?

Re: WM 6.1 Alarm Wont Disable
If the clock settings cannot find an alarm to go to, then there will be no entry for that. Shoot, that was my only lead so far.
Do you still have SPB time installed? did you try all the quick fixes like uninstalling and reinstalling? |

Re: WM 6.1 Alarm Wont Disable
