How can I stop this??

So after I loaded win 6.1 about 3weeks ago, everything was fine for a while then 2 weeks later I attempted a soft reset and my phone turned the red, green and white brick screen. After numerous tries and almost loosing it I finally figured it out! You have to plug the phone into the wall charger while powered on, take the battery out then put the battery back in and turn it on, then it loads up…. Can someone tell me how to stop this annoying process??

Which buttons did you press to do the soft reset? Sounds like you just put the phone in bootloader.

i did it all that's mention on this site.... I also reloaded 6.1 last night but then it wne back to the brick screen I then had to do the above sequence to get the phone to load again then all is fine... well not fine

oh i wen thur all forms of trying to reset it but the buttons do not function while in the brick screen so I have to load it the plugged in method.

so why havent you tried a hard reset(both soft keys and reset buton)?? remeber to back everything up first...

and you loaded 6.1 a few weeks ago? was it custom or stock rom?

i noticed you have a small number of posts, if ur mogul is newer than liek a yr old, it came with 6.1

I did try all forms of rest and nothing happens. The buttons are dead when in the brick screen. I have to do the above sequence on plugging it for it to respond. I bought the phone from someone back in oct. and had the 6.0. Everything on the phone is stock, as you would get right out the store.

ok...so follow your little sequence, back everything up, and hard reset it...

unless u tried to unlock the phone your self and flash a rom(if u used sprints, it did it all for you) you should never see this screen... most people get this because the flashed custom ROMS and didnt follow the right order for install...

try what i said and see what happens

everytime the phone looses power it goes to the brick screen (power botton/resets/battery out)

and youve dne the HARD reset???


goto sprint site and reflash 6.1 then, this fixes ot most times...again make sure everythings back up though, cuz its gonna wipe your phone clean

Ok.. update .... i realize last night that I do not have to do the above battery sequence for it to load but the phone has to be plugged into the wall outlet. if it's not plugged in then it stays at the brick screen. Ive done all forms of reset on this device and i did reflash the 6.1 on sunday night thinking that would of solved it but didnt. Also, I ve not done any hacks to the phone as yet... the phone is kind of like a dead car battery it attemps to load for a sec (quick flach of a light grey screen) then goes to the brick screen.
