Newest Rom is working flawlessly for Internet Sharing via TalynOne's wifirouter hack.

Mac OSX V.10.4.10 with the wifi router hack instructions followed in TalynOne's instructions. Works with my vista machine and at the same time my mac. Nothing was needed to set up the connection, as it appeared in the list of computer networks from the AirPort drop list. No help with syncing fles yet on the mac.

give usbmodem a try (works over bluetooth) then you don't need to pay for a phone as modem plan

He hit me up on im and together we finally figured out what was wrong with the connection between the mogul and my macbook pro core 2 duo.

We had to disable Connections/USb to Pc/Disable advanced Network Functionality


So if anyone else is having any trouble i'd give that a try.

How did you get the PAN to work with the macbook? On mine it has a spot for a username and password.

DUDE bluetooth pan on the macbook is super simple..

First make the phone and the macbook pair with each other, and make sure they are
trusted devices...

Then go to internet sharing on your mogul
select bluetooth pan
click connect
in the macbook click on the bluetooth menu in the upper corner of the screen
click join network or whatever it says under your devices name, then turn off
the airport
and you should be good

personally i just share the internet via wifi from my mogul, thats the best way...

as for syncing, I COULD NEVER get missingsync to work with 10.5... that could have just been me tho, but i just use parallels, since im always running windows on a separate desktop anyways...

Yeah man I figured it out last night lol. I was trying to do it through the macbooks PAN setup, then I realized hey, let me just try and join the network, bingo. Thanks for the reply anyways. I am sure it will help someone else.

never had any problems using missing sync with my macbook one thing is for sure tho i the video feature in missing sync does not work for me when syncing the ppc and the mac via usb chord and another thing never got bluetooth connection to work but long as the mac's file transfer bluetooth works thats all that matters.

Can you get files to push to the Mac over bluetooth? I can get them from my Mac to my 6800 but not the other way around.

I just use VMWare Fusion (virtual winXP) to sync my phone but use PAN for internet. There is a program that is free called SyncMate by Eltima Software (http://www.eltima.com/products/syncmate/) that can sync to the mac but I never got it to work on Leopard. It should be good on Tiger according to the website.

Yes blazing wolf i can bluetooth pictures from my phone to my mac, word documents and music i cant send videos though i dont know why havent figured that out yet.
