I'm having trouble with EVDO like crazy. The phone keeps on switching out of EVDO to 1x constantly and it is dropping calls a lot. I have also watched it try to reconnect to the sprint network 5 or 6 times. I am in Pittsburgh and while I know the Rev A isn't available on the phone yet it is available here so I would think I would be able to get a strong EVDO connection and not be stuck at 1x. Any suggestions?

BBond, I've written a pretty detailed solution here that may or may not be your solution - http://forums.buzzaboutwireless.com/...&thread.id=660

It has to be something else too... as I have never installed ilauncher and I have the loop ocassionally... the only way out of it is to yank out the 2gb card and it starts fine... then put it back in.

Could it be the SD card then? Some users reported that removing it would stop their device from looping.

It's just odd, not that I'm complaining, that my device is not looping again.

Anyone running Sprite backup? Or have any of you run SK Tools and removed everything (temp files, reg entries, etc.) without looking at what they are?

Just working on a few theories...

CAPS and Fn notification

I was sending a text message and noticed that although the slide out keyboard light for CAPS was off, I was writing all in CAPS and had to enable CAPS on the slide out keyboard for me to be able to write in lowercase. I thought something had gotten corrupted.

I then noticed that the on-screen keyboard and the slide-out keyboard don't talk to each other. On top of that, if CAPS is enable on the on-screen keyboard, there won't be an icon notification on the bottom bar like there was on the Treo (the upwards arrow for CAPS and the dot for Fn).

Anyone else notice this?

Can you post a link to that thread? I'll then post in SBSH to see if Amit and Jason can look at it.

I'm wondering if it is the SD card that was shipped with the phone. I had a looping problem on Saturday morning. I hard reset and did some testing on soft reseting after every app was installed. Later that afternoon I picked up a 4 GB microsdhc card and I haven't had any looping resets since.

Hmmm...no source that I can tell. Also seems like other uses who don't use iLauncher are having problems.
