Do they even teach anything in the sprint training classes for new reps?

I wish they could at least learn how to transfer the right way without dropping your call, or transfering you to a dial tone. It'd be nice to be able to get to the right department the first time, instead of having to call back 3 times to get to where you need to be.

I emailed customer service about the MMS issue, and the sprint rep who emailed me back said that it's up to HTC what they do with the phone.. right. They basically passed the buck and told me to call HTC.

This is rediculous.

if they say it is up to HTC then y does every other provider htat carries HTC have the mms feature even verizon but sprint not they are both CDMA services they jus dont know how 2lie about it any more HTC should make aswell an update theat provides the mms service or if not a cab download if its so called up to them HTC always fighting with sprint. sprint tried cripling the GPS HTC was like f it were unlocking it

Unfortunately, Sprint will probably just say "GPS enabled" means you can use an external GPS receiver with it... which you can do, but it's pretty hokey considering it has the hardware built-in. But then this whole thing is hokey.

ive also noticed that in winmo 6, if you go to a picture file and view it, you can hold down the stylus and have the option to send it to your facebook. the only problem is now, when you go to facebook, it asks you to send an MMS to get a confirmation code to activate the account. now with sprint disabling MMS, that facebook option to send photos to is obsolete...anyone else find that interesting?

Yeah I realized that last night when I went to upload a picture, and it really pisses me off. Facebook and Blogger both have a instant post from phone feature that I have been using. And neither have a email option. IDK if there is a work around for them. like a trick for our email client on our phone to have them think the email is coming from our phone number@XXXX
We need some hardcore hackers to figure this out. Bring back our MMS capabilities.

I keep reading people say they can still receive picture texts, but I can't view picture texts sent to me. When I receive one, it comes in the form of a link (like always). When I click on that link, the page loads, but the pic is not visable. This is what the page looks like (each screenshot represents the page as I scroll down the page)

In order to view the pic I have to forward the text message to my home or work email and open the link on my PC.

Aditionally there's a lot of chatter about emailing pics, but I have tried sending myself a picture text by sending an email to <my10digit#@pm.sprint.com> and the text never is rec'd. Has anyone else experienced this?

One other thing, and this might be a dumb question (but I'm dumb when it comes to this sort of stuff). If the MMS is just an IP gateway, and the vzw gateway is still working, why can't we just configure our phones to use the vzw gateway?
