Updated: 02/05 - NO LONGER WORKING on Sprint - Real Picture Mail (PicMail, MMS)

Im having trouble. None of my messages are going through. Do i need sprint to activate picture mail?

I just installed it and it seems to work perfect on my mogul and I sent a mms without a hitch. I did not need to activate anything with sprint. Does anyone know if this is a feature that Sprint is going to charge me for? I have never used MMS or SMS before and would like to know if I will get charged for using them.

when I open a new pic message if you click on the "TO" > it takes me to my contacts.

I've tried using this program a couple of times (between hard resets and rom upgrades).

Every time it installs correctly and when I send a message it acts like it sends just fine. However, the message is never received by anyone.


Any ideas?

I'm in the same boat, dude. Running DCDs latest rom.

for those having troubles with nobody receiving your messages, make sure you dont close out the application too quickly, and receive the "message sent" notification on your phone.
i am not sure if DCD's rom has anything to do with it, but I am using the stock 2.17, and I haven't ever had issues with it. just make sure it is sent.

another way to check, would be to open up messaging, goto MMS, and then check the outbox to see if your messages are still sitting there, if they are, you may be closing out of the app too quickly, or possibly some other reason I am unaware of. When sending a message, I usually sit tight until I get that message sent notification.

The Mogul does not have the ability to receive mms messages without visiting an external link, but can send them with this app. This was addressed earlier in this thread. See post #34 and #51 (quoted below). I wish we could receive them too!

NO. This has been discussed at least 2-3 times within this thread. This app is an addon to POutlook to SEND PicMail, not receive it.

You will still receive a message with an external link when someone else sends you PicMail.
