try "VistaHide Battery Gauge" it's free.
multi-colored bar at the top of the screen

Thanks for the link to that app flipside. I installed it on mine just now and it appears to work correctly. It is using 3.90kb memory according to memaid, so its lightweight. The bar adjusts appropriately when the screen goes landscape as well

Below is a pic from the website, but it looks the same on mine.

Disable Multi-NAI
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\WModem\Multi-NAI default is 1, set to 0(00000000)

There's also a Check Profile in WModem, by default set to 1. Wonder if setting this to 0 would help any for undetected tethering?

WModem isn't even included on the device, from what I saw.

I was reading this post and I was wondering (just out of curiousity) what this fix does?

MUST HAVE FIX:
Camera doesn't flip the pictures right:

Got a fix (registry change):
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Camera\Image
Change "EnableEncodePortrait" to 0

When you take a picture it is saved in the wrong configuration and you then have to rotate it with a picture editor so its not sideways and save it again. This is the fix for it.

Thanks for the info... I did this and got the date up top, but the year is missing the last digit.

Also, how do I get rid of the default carrier name and date line on the today screen? Im sure there is a simple way but im not seeing it. Thanks.
