Entering bootloader upon every restart

I thought my phone was bricked because it got stuck in bootloader one day upon restart and reflashing did not fix. I figured out that it restarts into windows mobile when it is plugged up to the wall and it works 100% normal. But if I am away from my wall charger and I restart it the phone gets stuck again in bootloader until I plug it up and restart. I have seen other people with the same problem in the forums but never a solution. Any suggestions? Is there a piece of hardware I can replace to fix this?

Re: Entering bootloader upon every restart

do you have a Memory card installed with one of the Boot loader soft wares on it? I remember when I was unlocking my phone I used a mem card and I had to place the file on the root of the card then reboot and the boot loader came up and was updated.

Re: Entering bootloader upon every restart

What bootloader are you running? If you're using a custom ROM you need to make sure you're using OliPro 2.4. If you're running an OEM setup you should probably just backup your device and reflash.

Re: Entering bootloader upon every restart

I haven't done anything to it. It just did this on its own. I reflashed the latest ROM of of the HTC site and I am assuming this reflashes the bootloader also? Do I need to reflash the bootloader separately?

Re: Entering bootloader upon every restart

I have run into this in the past. Fixed it by flashing to the stock rom by running the sprint rom upgrade executable from my pc. I would think the nueSPL relocker would do the trick as well.

Re: Entering bootloader upon every restart

I had this problem after I dropped my Mogul. I took it to a Sprint store and the smart *** tech guys thought it was an easy fix AFTER I told them multiple times I reflashed it with a Sprint rom it would do the samething....so after 1 hour of waiting all they did was flash the phone to a stock rom and handed it to me....I reset the phone infront of them and it went back to the bootloader...after I raised hell for waiting an HOUR for a problem I told them they couldnt fix, I got a brand new replacement and credit to my account.

It's a hardware problem it can't be fixed by us...just have it replaced...
