it would be nice to have it back. not sure why it stopped working.
It happen after updated the kitchen so I'm not sure what was changed in one of the OEMs to make it happen

Is this a cooked ROM?
I noticed that the auto completion stopped working when i added the HTC Diamond QWERTY keyboard. I re-flashed a new ROM without the Diamond keyboard and it started working again.

Interesting. I don't think I have the Diamond QWERTY, however, I do have the Diamond Keypad.
FYI: With the registry edit I posted above, that did give me a basic version of the auto completion. It only shows 1 name after you press the SPACE key.
