U Have Got To Be Kidding!!

Ok so I got my new 6800 yesterday for my ppc 6700 through asurion!!! I got to work right away updated the radio ( which did not need to be done) and unlocking the phone. That all went good, then i flashed a couple roms, that went ok except i can only use one set ( ppckitchen ) the others i get some error before it even opens up the build screen. None the less the last flash I added to much I assume. The phone boots real slow if i can get it past the alignment screen it goes white and I can not reflash because it will not connect to active sync. What do i do I know I had a program for the 6700 that i could run and it would et the ppc 6700 to the way it was. Please help I am missing my phone ALREADy. Thanks In Advance

Flash from the SD card. Look it up on here. there are plenty of posts.

why not go to bootloader mode and flash?

will it connect to active sync in bootloader mode?? Ppc kitchen says to have it connected to active sync. Also could you get me a link for a decent rom to flash via sd card until i get home to my pc. I can not find one that I know for sure will work. Thanks again

So dont know if this should be another thread or not but when i try to flash say a Nochem rom i first get: Kitchen\Titan_No2Chem_5067_Wm6.1.rar: found kitchenconfigVersion=.90.02, but BuildOS needs kitchenconfigversion=.90.03
I click ok and then get:
Unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore the error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediatly.
Stream Does Not support writing

So if i click continue it just locks up adn does nothing what do i need to do to get this fixed?? Thanks For all the help thus far !!

No the phone will not sync in BL mode but you do need to been in BL mode to flash so simply press your buttons to get into BL mode, cook you a ROM and because the Kitchen looks for the device it may fail but the ROM files itself will be saved in the default directory so go there with the device in BL mode and click on the RUU file to start the flash

Certain roms have certain dependencies - radio stack and bootloader...
Check this page out;

You'll need to cross reference the first two posts on there - the first one to match your rom and your radio...
The second to match your rom to your bootloader.

As for your kitchen - you're one version short on OSBuilder - upgrade it and you should come out ok.

When I have a bad flash I just put my phone in BL mode-plug it into the usb and run ROMUpdateUtility.exe for whatever rom your flashing. OR, just run the exe from the new rom your flashing to. It will load the ROMUpdateUtility. But your phone being in the BL mode already just skips that step while flashing. Its worked just fine for me several times.

Thanks alot all the help i got it up and running thanks to you guys and GGuruUSA over at ppckitchen now all i have to do i figure out why my phone is using so much memory when nothing is running can anyone help there?? I can not even launch sprint pm everything else seems to work ok though thanks again
