No the phone will not sync in BL mode but you do need to been in BL mode to flash so simply press your buttons to get into BL mode, cook you a ROM and because the Kitchen looks for the device it may fail but the ROM files itself will be saved in the default directory so go there with the device in BL mode and click on the RUU file to start the flash
