Palm messaging App on 6800/Mogul/Titan - Page 6

Im sorry to repost, but this program is starting to drive me nuts.

Does anyone know why it continually restarts itself? I X it out, and then the phone goes to sleep, 30 seconds later it turns itself on. I make a phone call, end the call, close the dial screen, and there's the message screen staring at me.. mocking me and my attempts to close it.

Any help?

it happens to me sometimes and did on my 6700 too but not that often.... don't know why though

Yea so I can send texts, but I cannot receive them? Anyone know why? I am using this on my mogul? I can send just find but when people said they reply I dont receive the messages.

Question for those with threaded SMS and SPB phone tools user. After install the threadedSMS and remove the SMS from Pocket outlook, does the phone tool SMS counter still work?

i coulda swore i saw it somewhere, but isnt there a file you have to backup to save your messages in case of a hard reset or something?

what file is that is where is it located?

anyone having problems having both the Palm SMS and Arcsoft MMS working together? I have them both installed and when i try to send a pic through MMS says message delivery fail. Do i need to install Arcsoft before Palm?

nope i have no problems. u need to send a new pix message.

also, I experience the messaging app opening randomly, but it happens only 2-3 times a day, so it's no biggie. the more annoying fact is that all messages received are off by 5 minutes. anyone know a fix to that?

Has anyone noticed a degrese in the phones proformance after installting the threaded sms. Ever since I have installed it my phone seems a little slow and retarted now.

There are a few different versions of the Threaded SMS program out there. There is one made specifically for the 6800 Mogul and all you have to do is install the .cab file and soft reset. After you soft reset, you're good to go. It works great and I haven't found any bugs with it yet at all. It works like it came with the phone.

I am honestly not sure which one I have but I just installed the cab and had to make no changes with the version i have. Anyway ideas where I might look to find the one that was setup for the 6800?
