Freakin VOICE COMMAND won't work in my 6800 w/ 6.1

Just got a new (used) xv6800 , upgraded to WM 6.1 via MR1 but Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 has Bluetooth problms. You can use it to call but it will not do any confirmation of what number you wanted to call, so you end up dialing the wrong one. Is there any fix to this?

My xv6700 worked fine with MSVC 1.5- loved it, but since we have to use hands-free in my state, the xv6800 will not work with either my bluetooth Jawbone nor my bluetooth Prius. Help!
