Freakin VOICE COMMAND won't work in my 6800 w/ 6.1
 

Dang it dang it dang it.....I up graded to 6.1 & MSVC 1.6 will not work. I've tried the older ver I have and the newer one in the 20755 kitchen....no joy.

Anybody know how to fix it in the registry....
Or a NO-Voice-Tag alternative???

another Voice Command is Cyberon Voice Commander

I am running MSVC 1.6 on 20755 and have no issues, not sure about any registry edits since mine works

I have MSVC working perfectly using nue3 with WM6.1

My setup announces incoming calls through Bluetooth etc.

I don't know WHAT is different, but I flashed an updated Home-Cook & voila, 20755's ver is running fine. I'll have to find the settings to announce via BT...so far it just rings, but i'tll instantiate from the BT headset, so....

What is MSVC? I cooked my OS with BuildOS, and Voice Command does not work. How do I go back to a version that worked?

Just got a new (used) xv6800 , upgraded to WM 6.1 via MR1 but Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 has Bluetooth problms. You can use it to call but it will not do any confirmation of what number you wanted to call, so you end up dialing the wrong one. Is there any fix to this?

My xv6700 worked fine with MSVC 1.5- loved it, but since we have to use hands-free in my state, the xv6800 will not work with either my bluetooth Jawbone nor my bluetooth Prius. Help!

Ver. 1.6.19209 works fine on the 6800 (Sprint) have been using for several months no problems.

I found a work around-
Go to Settings , Voice Command (under Personal tab).
Select Contacts, and hit Notifications.
Select :
-Announce notifications using Bluetooth hands free only
This option will cause all notifications to be spoken through an attached Bluetooth hands free device. If no Bluetooth headset is attached, notifications will be suppressed.
I have no idea why , but if there is a Bluetooth headset it will announce via the phone (not the headset) and if no Bluetooth, it will still announce via the phone. Yes, I tried all the settings here and this one (looks like it would not ) actually works.

The Voice Command version I downloaded from Handago is: 1.60.4622.0.

I have not figured out a way to get it to update to a later version from Microsoft, even though I paid for it.

Mine doesn't announce through the bluetooth headset either. I have VC version 1.60.4622 also. I am running DCD's latest ROM 4.1.2
