Thank you for your condolences.....if the worst case scenario of the rumors prove correct, then it is going to be bad news for Sprint.....VZ releases the 6800 with WM6 at the end of May or first of June with WM6. Sprint Releases the same, but not until October. This will put the release a minimum of nearly 10 months late, that we know about. Especially considering that an effective life cycle of an upper end PDA is probably around a year (unless you are Palm that translates to 3 years) it does not look very optimistic for Sprint having much to draw in or keep customers.
I agree that Sprint is totally missing the boat. It is simple. If they want to draw in more new customers and retain the ones they already have all they have to do is woo them with a nice flashy phone. Sprint used to be on top of the game with this....Treo 600 & PPC-6600 for example. These were great options when compared to what was available at the time. Now we are just begging them to give us last year's model.
But then again maybe they will release next week, actually make due on their promise to upgrade the OS and to Rev A and all this is for nothing.
