This absolutely NOT true. There isn't an ounce of truth in it. Sorry, I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but this is absolutely wrong. Photon (WM7.0) is at least a year and a half away. It is no where near being released. We barely have WM6.0 devices on the market, and it is being suggested that the next version is only months away. Microsoft's Mobile Device development team have not had anywhere near enough time to get Photon close to RTM status. It's only been a few months since they RTM WM6.0

This is what bothers me about rumors of delays like this October release date. One site makes a vague statement about it and it gains speed, next you know there are stupid rumors like this be intentionally put out that totally mislead people who are anxiously waiting its release.

Personally I think with all the speculation and rumors floating around everyone needs to take a step back, take a deep breath, and relax. Give this all a few days to play out....it may not be anywhere near as bad as the rumors are making it out to be.....and it definitely is not related to photn.

You're in Florida...the same state in which I was told that Sprint would never get the 700wx Sprint reps at the stores are generally clueless so I wouldn't take anything he said seriously.

gonzo84, I'm not venting on you. I know you were just posting what you were told, in good faith. My comments were not directed at you ....sorry.

I just think there is far too much BAD information being given out that does nothing but confuse decent folk who are only looking for reliable information about this release.

The Verizon rep told my wife in the store the other day that she needed the unlimited data plan to be able to connect her phone to the pc and transfer via activesync.
