well yeah that much would, but im just sayin.... for the average user not the extreme user, and besides they would have to prove that you were tethering and i find that it would be difficult to do and then they would have to deal with alot of individuals and inspect every account, i beleive that would be very frivolous and tedious not to mention time consuming and not very cost effective.

Wow for any account 3-400GB usage is a lot. I would be asking for a business account without restrictions. lol

Re: Does anyone else use wmwifirouter all day long?

Is charter and just an average cable account. Just have not seen any restrictions since we moved here a few months ago and I have a few progs that monitor my bandwidth since I host a few sites and tend to aquire and disburse a whole lot of data and for this month so far I am sitting at 273GB down already and 98GB up. I hate living in the country though cause I feel limited by only being able to download at 1.4m/s and upload at 160k/s. I miss my truly high speed account I had in SoCal before my wife got stationed in NC.

Re: Does anyone else use wmwifirouter all day long?

I use wmwifirouter about 8 hrs a day @work and mine never disconnects or anything. I did notice like someone else said that after awhile it stops charging, never knew it was because of the heat though. But other than that i've had no problems with it at all.

Re: Does anyone else use wmwifirouter all day long?

Yes, I am a frequent user myself and I must agree it is a great app. It all depends on my battery before it times out on me. I have recently had my 6800 swapped to a brand new one out the box, new battery and all, and I have gotten 2+ hrs of run time when before I could get about and hr. I have the latest versions and everything. Im not sure if that answered your question or not, but that is my experience.

Re: Does anyone else use wmwifirouter all day long?

Just in case anyone else is having trouble with the phone not charging after prolonged use: it is simply due to the heat build up. You can delay this by simply sliding open your keyboard to improve air flow/ cooling, but it will not help all that much. I recently switched to a touch pro, which as many have found gets incredibly warm even under moderate loads. I am also using No2chem's rapid battery charging drivers (about double the standard rate of charge) When using wmwifi for prolonged periods I simply set it on a notebook cooling pad (small fan blowing across the unit) and can let it run indefinitely under full load. Anything that increases airflow will help!

Re: Does anyone else use wmwifirouter all day long?

I upgraded to the simply everything plan as a precaution, but i'm up to 20+ gb per month the last 2 months... Sprints on their last leg with me and in general, I use to work for them. Let them cancel me without an ETF... Haha.. I'll just go with better reception to Verizon...

Re: Does anyone else use wmwifirouter all day long?

a few things i guess...

1) i use mine alot, like a Ton.. i just looked im at 6,663,385kb.. not too bad, but i dont DL music and im not big on YouTube.. so i can only imagine how high it can get...

2) its really arguable legally what sprint can do to us for it..aside from the TOS does say they can terminate for ANY reason... but when you enter a contract under one term(remember it wasnt capped at 5gb=unlimited for quite awhile) and then sprint changes it, by law your grandfathered into that original deal... so its questionable if they could stick you with fees...but they can term ya..
